Children of Iapetus
Iapetus was the father of Prometheus, the fire-bearer of mankind, and also brought into existence the reckless Epimetheus, who gave mankind only a few hairs and nails. He also begat Atlas, the Titan of astronomy, and Menoetius, whom Zeus slew with his thunderbolt during his battle with the Titans.
